ET meets Transformers... We can only imagine that that was part of the pitch for Monster Trucks, which is the family adventure film you might have forgotten was still happening, given the relative lack of promotion after its initial trailer. Still, here comes a new look at the movie to remind us all.
Monster Trucks sees Lucas Till as Tripp, a young man looking for some way out of the small town and lacklustre life he finds himself in. Thinking that building his own truck might be one solution, he unexpectedly ends up with an additional part he never bargained for: a strange creature that had been living underground until an oil drilling operation dislodged it.
The beast seems friendly, and also appears to enjoy living inside Tripp's truck. Which will come in handy when nasty corporate types come hunting for it
